The house has a timber frame, wooden external cladding and a sheet metal roof. It has been extended and renovated in several stages, with major renovations carried out in 1984, 2001, 2024 and 2025. In the 2001 renovation the roof was renewed and covered with sheet metal. Windows and external doors have also been renewed during the works.
A geothermal heating system was installed in the building in 2024, improving energy efficiency and reducing heating costs. The building has water-circulating radiator heating, which can also be run on wood or electricity. There is also an air source heat pump, which has proved particularly useful during summer heatwaves. During power cuts the electricity supply can be secured with the backup power system.
The sale also includes a small house of about 48 m2 in basic condition on its own 0.5-hectare plot about three kilometres from the farm. The building can be used to accommodate employees or, with a small renovation, turned into a romantic rural tourism destination. If the buyer wishes, this small house can be left out of the sale or bought later.
