Järvikumpu is a dairy farm with around 70 dairy cows and the young stock needed for herd replacement. The average milk yield is just over 11,000 kg per cow per year. The farm has a production contract to sell its milk to Valio.
Of the calves born, the dairy-breed heifer calves are reared for herd replacement in the second loose-housing building. The sale of bull calves and animals for slaughter is covered by a contract with Atria.
The sale includes two freestalls: one for the dairy cows and a separate one for the young stock. The machine hall has a heated workshop.
Around 94 hectares of field are for sale, of which 65 hectares have underground field drainage. The sale also includes 24 hectares of forest.
