Järvikumpu Farm lies among the lakes and hill landscapes of Pello in beautiful Finnish Lapland, where international tourism is growing strongly, above all thanks to the proximity of Rovaniemi and its international airport. The proposed Miekojärvi – Arctic Circle national park, which the municipalities of Pello and Ylitornio are promoting, would also strongly boost year-round tourism in the area if it goes ahead. Tourism is already growing strongly in the villages of Pello and in the Ruuhijärvi area, and a dynamic pony farm run by young entrepreneurs is located a few hundred metres from our farm.
All of this gives the buyer of Järvikumpu Farm the opportunity to develop rural tourism if they wish.
The sale also includes a 48 m2 small house on its own 0.5-hectare plot about three kilometres from the farm. The building can be used to accommodate employees or, with a small renovation, turned into a romantic rural tourism destination. If the buyer wishes, this building can be left out of the sale or bought later.
